I'm watching television at the moment, while my brain's instincts are telling me to get up from my bed and get something to eat in the fridge. For the record, my life has always been like this; it's no doubt why I'm gaining weight to the extent of this very day. The apparent reason, as far as I am concerned, is probably my laziness when it comes to daily activities. I think it has been a habit of mine ever since I started high school.
But no, of course not, I'm not blaming my high school friends for this ambiguous habit; I guess this is just really me, my nature. Oh, I'm not that lazy though, jokingly I think I'm just overflowing with potential energy. On the point of the topic, I do things when I'm motivated and inspired enough to do them. It has been proved the day when I was thoroughly bored, sucking the tip of my pen; and surprisingly I ended up writing a poem I've never written before. Perhaps my life is just like that — a life that needs inspiration that will motivate it to live up whatever turmoils will block the way.

Bye-bye, April
One day left and another month will be gone. Apparently I've done nothing interesting this April. Count the days I was depressed since the end of March, whereas I was having trouble concentrating on regular activities such as enjoying my time. At least I tried to be somewhat productive; however, whenever I started to do some such things I end up with total failure.
Anyway, on Sunday will by the day — my 15th birthday. I'm somewhat confused on what to do because Mother has already decided where we will go after going to church. I think we'll be eating at my favourite restaurant, Chowking. On the other hand, I've also decided where to celebrate it with my friends. But I cannot assure them hundred percent — I'm currently penniless at the moment, and I'm in doubt whether my aunt will send me cash or not. It's quite ambiguous though. And I hope she really would do so.

Just something I realised
I realised this song sums up my life. I hope you like this; this is the only thing I can talk about tonight.
Hero, written by Mariah Carey herself and her writing partner, Walter Afanasieff, is a single from Mariah Carey's third album, Music Box, which was released in 1993. The song talks about one's epiphany on realising that there is a hero if one looks within oneself. This song hit the top of the chart on Christmas Day of 1993, making Mariah's sixth number one song.

PETA, I love you
Last week I asked PETA via e-mail for leaflets and stickers to be delivered in my house. The e-mail was diverted to a staff in PETA Asia, who informed me that they just recently made an office in Makati; sad to say, I live here in Cebu, which is miles away from that place. Furthermore, they said to me I should be the one to shoulder the shipping cost, as they are keeping a tight lid to their budget. But I don't care about the shipping cost, I care about the leaflets, stickers and two DVD which are soon to be mine.
The reason why I requested them is because I want to help animals. Like us, they have their own rights and should be treated equally. My main point is that they are helpless due to the fact that they are quite different among us humans. Take dissection in universities and schools, for example. This way of examining their anatomy is inhuman, therefore this traditional practice should be cut out. We can use alternative and animal-friendly procedures for studying their internal body organs. Moreover, the absolute inhuman act includes skinning and cutting them alive.
I'm quite proud to say that my apparent defending of the rights of helpless animals is improving day by day. I know this is meant to happen, and that God really wants me to do. Perhaps this is what I am living for?

Junior
Just so you know, I slept some time at one o'clock this afternoon, and then woke up at six. It's not surprising to anyone, though; this seems to be a new bad habit for me.
This morning Mom and I went to school for my enrollment. To where extent of boredom my mother would feel? She just met one of her high school classmates and incessantly talked about their adult lives. Apparently it seemed they had a good time reminiscing their high school memories; in the end they exchanged each other's phone number. Not only Mother did reunite with her classmate, it also happened to me: I had a good laughing moments with my friends — Lynn, Mark, and Odelle — who were there for the enrollment too!

Happy birthday, Happy Monster!
Just this day my Happy Monster turned sixteen. As my little way of expressing my gratitude, I used my exaggerated Photoshop magic to do the trick. She liked it, and I'm fine with that.
Jokingly, I think Dannika's photo is better than this!
Happy 16th birthday!

". . . so we can reach our end goal."
"Sometimes we need to step back and take a look at ourselves. A look at where we are, where we are heading, and where we ultimately want to be in the end. If the first two aren't heading towards the last we need to make adjustments so we can reach our end goal."
-David Archuleta on Twitter.
Eight days until the most anticipated day of my life. I phone my aunt this afternoon, but sadly I won't receive an iPhone on my birthday. It's not that I'm disappointed in her, it's just that I'm disappointed in my self for expecting too much this past few days. Perhaps iPhone isn't just for me. And I believe there has to be a reason for that. On the related topic, she promised (though she didn't mention the word 'promise') that she'll send me cash to celebrate my birthday. But I won't expect that much, as I just end up being lonely.
At the moment, I'm hoping that tomorrow would be a good day for me. And I believe only God knows what it might bring into my life.

Whatever
Mom and Dad has sort of an argument this evening — it wouldn't happen if only Dad refused to buy drinks for his cousin. The only thing that I could say is "whatever," they're now grown ups, and they should totally take responsibility for themselves — let alone that they have two children.
I found out yesterday that Kasmir — also known as the Happy Monster in one of my previous posts — is joining a camp in Baguio. Her friend said to me that she'll arrive today, so I waited for her the whole Thursday but I found no sign of her existence. Maybe tomorrow she'll go online. I miss her . . . as a friend.

I can has an iPhone
I'm insanely happy this evening because my dear cousin, Eve, some chocolates as what she promised. It's funny how chocolates can bring such joy, and I'm grateful for it. I'm not an avid chocolate fan, though. But, as far as I'm concerned, I ate lots during my vacation in Malaysia (I'm going to write a blog post about my vacation there).
It appears to me that Father is sort of an atheist. Because he works outside the country most of his time, he couldn't go to a Catholic church. And hey, I do mind about it. I don't want to be an offspring of a Mormon and an atheist. Back to the topic, when Grandmother led the lunch prayer, Father didn't do the sign of the cross.
My birthday is surprisingly fast approaching. I'm getting serious about asking my aunt to buy me an iPhone. Grandmother said she'll phone her on Sunday (I know, why not this day?). It sure wouldn't cost her a lot; she has no children and has got heaps of money — plus, she's living in Sydney for about five years or more. I won't expect too much, I believe I might jinx things on that day.

"How much is my tuition fee?"
The Twenty-first of April seemed to be more different than yesterday: not only that my mood has gone up surprisingly, but also things in the house seems to get better. I texted Dannika last night and asked about how the celebration was going, but I received no reply, I don't thing that's a bad omen though, I think that's normal as we have different mobile carriers.
Speaking of birthdays, May 2nd is quickly approaching. I'm planning to ask my auntie in Sydney to buy me an iPhone for my birthday. I mean, I rarely get special gifts from special people. Also, my parents quite noticed that I'm apparently excited for my day. Just recently I asked Mother what would be her gift for me, but I didn't get a very amusing response: she's nothing to give to me, as she's going to spend all the money for my tuition fee. I think I can say "FML" for once.
I haven't talked with my Happy Monster for the past few days. She's busy with school business, I think.

Am I qualified?
Today is the Twentieth of April, and there's nothing more that ever comes to my mind: it's Dannika's birthday! I excitedly did a countdown last night; I told her to do it too, but sadly she said to me via private message on Facebook that she was already asleep that time — no problem for me though. Anyway, the least thing that I could possibly do for this day was that I made an edited picture — Dannika at the beach, but I made the scenery sunset-like through Photoshop — and everybody on Facebook gave me praises for it. I wish I could do more than that, but I can't buy anything expensive. But still, what's up with it, it's the thought that counts, am I correct? And I also tried to phone her, but it seemed she and her family went out to celebrate.
I'm grateful to God for this day. It's special to me because it's a special day for somebody special.
The photo quality is awful, I know; still, it's the thought that counts.

Monday
Mother's birthday. Dad prepared everything. The old jeep's parts were dismantled for money's sake. Missing Christmas. Quintuplets still unnamed. Miserable. Met Dannika's cousin, Katrina. Melodramatic once again.
I seriously can't talk about this Monday.
I seriously can't talk about this Monday.

Hitler and the Quintuplets
The morning turned out to be different. When I woke up and logged in on Facebook, I received notifications for Dannika—yes, the one whom I'm talking about whenever I say 'She' and 'Her'— and I was insanely surprised when she asked me about Twitter. I mean, she's never done that before, and it's still a mystery for me why it happened. Needless to say, we had a long conversion on her wall — which includes about what will she do on her birthday this April 20th, and I also told her that I have a gift already prepared for her. But sadly she'd got to go as she's going with her cousins are going to the mall to buy gifts for her. But anyway, I'm actually grateful that this happened; it's a very rare moment which I really ought to treasure.
On contrary to popular beliefs, happy moments don't last forever. Father wasn't sober (yes, he drank again) when he came home from his friend's house, so the dinner was filled with his heavy sighs and hot-blooded gaze over the table; he basically does that when my younger brother doesn't want to eat the prepared food. He then showed up his well-known attitude — Hitler attitude (don't laugh when I say that for it's really true). Anyway, it does really matter to me at all. The fact that his mood sometimes affect me isn't visibly obvious to him yet, but I hope he would see so some time . . . to know that I have feelings too!
Just so you know, my dog gave birth to five — FIVE — puppies today; the way I say "FIVE" is a clear exaggeration, as my friend Michael's dog gave birth to twelve. We haven't given names to the quintuplets yet, we'll just do so when their reproductive organs are recognizable.

Kasmir, the Happy Monster
At least some good things happened last night. I basically vented my angst and loneliness on Twitter, and there were some friends who really cared for me. Furthermore, I listened to some of Mariah Carey's encouraging songs; one of the songs which I really adored was Make It Happen, as it has a message that goes: You'll never find the answers if you throw your life away. I used to feel the way you do, but I still had to keep on going. The line is probably true, but maybe the message could work on my situation. And I'm lucky to have a Happy Monster beside me — Kasmir.
Working with PETA brings a slight improvement on my mood. This morning I felt so proud of myself when I received an e-mail that brings a great message:
Hey Paolo,
Less than a day after PETA release heartbreaking photos drawing attention to the plight of more than 50 dogs who were transported on a Lufthansa cargo plane from the U.S. to an animal-testing facility in Scotland, Lufthansa took quick action by announcing a new policy prohibiting the transport of dogs and cats to laboratories.
Without the help of you and more than 22,000 other compassionate people who contacted Lufthansa within the first 24 hours, this important victory for dogs and cats would have been impossible.
However, this is only a partial victory because Lufthansa's new policy does not cover all animals who are transported to laboratories.
Please take another step to make this a complete victory by thanking Lufthansa for showing compassion for cats and dogs and urging it to extend the new policy to cover all species of animals.
Also, make sure that your voice is heard by calling Lufthansa at 800-542-2746 to thank the company for protecting dogs and cats, and politely ask it to make this policy change. Your words make a difference for animals.
Thank you again for saving dogs and cats!
Sincerely,
Rachel Owen
Senior Street Team Coordinator

Perhaps my cooperation with PETA shows that my life sure has a point I haven't seen yet, probably I would in the right time.

Friendships are . . . what?
"Friendships are like plants. If you don't care for them, they wither and die."
- The most epic game: The Sims.
I am so not in the mood to discuss fucking things in my life. My life is miserable. I suddenly remember that last day of year 2009, I hoped that year 2010 would give me a change — a good one. But it seems I jinxed things again: this doesn't turn out so well for me. As a matter of fact, I have infinite reasons to prove that; maybe infinite is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's a fact . . . somewhat a fact. Anyway, to get back to my point, things just don't get better: it seems to improve somehow — but it wears off after a short period of time. And I'm tired of saying that I'm fed up; rather, I vent it to social networking websites, which includes Twitter and Facebook.
I just wish that people would try their best to be sensitive to my insincerity. . . .

Danboard represents my life
Before I proceed, you may have noticed the changes in my blog. I thought of making it more attractive for you to be motivated to read, and I hope you won't fail me with my intention. My mother, father, and brother, are currently in the bedroom, insanely enjoying themselves with biscuits; for the meanwhile, here I am, finally have an idea on what to blabber about on my blog.
This blog entry is fully dedicated to a non-living thing. Because just tonight, I realised how similar this little cardboard box creature with my life. And in case if you'd ask, his (or her, I know nothing about this cardboard box's gender, but I would prefer assuming him as a male) name is Danboard. I knew his name just a while ago; I was having difficulties before then because there was no proper name for him, so I looked him up on Google and finally found him on Flickr. As what the post title says, it represents my life for we're both somehow melodramatic, and I'm not hide that fact from because it really is actually true. Below are some photos of him which you may find adorable.
It's impossible for me to post all of his photos on my blog, but if you wish on viewing more, visit the owner's Flickr page by clicking here.
That's all for tonight!

"Charice has got a big and wide face, so as her mouth."
In my opinion, the entry title is very true. Click here to know which Charice my teacher was talking about.
I'm grateful (I'm not being sarcastic) to God because He had given me again a reason to get out of this house. To point out the obvious, I hate staying here with nothing much to do, because I'm really sure that it would only lead me into the twisted web of boredom.
The reason was I had to go to school at three o'clock and get my report card. I was reluctant at first that I even thought of asking my mother to get it for me, but nevermind. It just so happened that the realisation seeing my classmates with their sunburned faces would be a good thing. Subsequently, the report cards were distributed together with the second issue of The Beacon, our school paper, and I was sort of disappointed . . . and I don't want to blog about the reason.
But it was not the only news for today. We were saddened by the news that Catherine's sister, Emariel, died of dengue fever. Together with two teachers, classmates, my report card and extra copies (yes, I volunteered on bringing the extra copies that weren't claimed by their respective owners) of our school paper, we went to the wake and offered prayers, which was humbly leaded by me. Since we didn't want to get bored, we spent the remaining time playing cards — but we stopped doing so after the Emariel's boyfriend complained about our boisterous laughs and noise.
And the thing that made my night: a fansign from Assunta de Rossi - an actress here in the Philippines. I'd be lying if I say I wasn't being quite demanding whilst requesting for it.

For my current health update, my right eye doesn't hurt at the moment. But a big thank you to my nephew who coughed in front of my face a while ago, and now I'm feeling sick. Yehey!

Birthdays are special for me
I now believe what my parents say about spending too much time on the computer: it can really damage your eyesight — but not in my situation. My right eyelid hurts like fuck, and the only thing I can throw my blame to is the computer. As what you have probably noticed, I've had this habit on sleeping late at night, and only get 6 hours of sleep as a result; so surely that is one of the reason of this problem. Eventually I changed my wallpaper to a black one, and it somehow helped me with it. I want to tell my parents about this, but I think this is just normal and nothing to be worried about. . . .
Enough about my eyesight, I'm afraid I'll jinx things that I'd end up wearing glasses months from now.
Last night Armiel and I had a countdown for his birthday. I'm kind of jealous that he's 15 now; I can't wait for May 2nd to come. My point on doing countdown every birthday is that I want to feel the feeling on growing up.
Speaking of birthdays, what I want on May 2nd is a simple one: I want to do what I want to do. I don't need a special celebration like last year's, I need my time on hanging out with friends, and the like.
In short, I just want to be happy.

How was the week?
For a change, I made a list of good and bad things that happened this week:
Yehey:
- One of Dad's military collectibles had been sold, and the money was used to buy groceries.
- There was somewhat an improvement of my self-esteem, though somehow it went down back to the point where it used to be.
- My sleeping impediment has been cured: I'd like to say thanks to the people who wakes me up early in the morning.
- When I found out the truth, my love for Her was resurrected.
- I learned to share problems with trustworthy people.
- For the first time, I asked dad to drive me to a place. The most surprising point was that he did it without hesitations.
- My new friend Patrice made me a very adorable artwork; it is clear to see that her creativity is unparalleled.
- One of my New Year's Resolution is to lose weight: I haven't done any exercises at the moment, but I've been carrying gallons of mineral water every now and then. Perhaps that counts up for something?
Boo:
- Things and appliances has been sold for financial purposes.
- The school office summoned me to let me know about my current status: closer supervision.
- Mood-swings and insecurity were getting worse day by day.
Result:
The week was somewhat good.

A glimpse of artistry
Do you think this is cool? Should you think it is, I'd give you high points for that. This is created by a friend of mine named Patrice.
I actually like it just because how I appeared in this picture - the body, the jet black hair, and the innocence. It shows all I ever wanted to be in the future. . . .
The highlight of Summer 2010
Ok, let's face it. Today was a busy day. A lot had happened; I don't know where to start.
Firstly, I was late this morning. On the contrary of what I posted on my wall, I didn't spend my money on eating at my favorite fast-food restaurant; but since I had enough sleep, I was on the mood to go at the resort. I asked Dad to drive me there, which he kindly did without hesitations. After thirty minutes, we safely arrived at the place. Though there was a problem at the entrance gate, I won't bother blogging more about it as my parents paid for the entrance fee - so it was hassle free.
Luckily for me, I then found my classmates easily; they we're already enjoying the sea when I arrived, so it was pretty much easy for me to find them. The only problem was that we couldn't put more pleasure into the day, because the resort's items were over-priced (ever since it's opened,) and we had the bloody B.Y.O.F. rule (Bring Your Own Food - if you'd ask me). But irregardless, much fun went on by playing games in the sea. We kept doing so for more than three hours, and apparently there is no one to blame why we're having body pains at the moment. Sadly, every happy moments have to come to an end, so by five o'clock we went home, vowing each other to upload their photos on Facebook.
Lastly, I'm pretty much sure that I haven't (forgive me if I had) told you about my uncle's 50th birthday and Eve's graduation in high school. Since last night the people were as busy as a bee: it ought to be an extravagant and imeldific celebration because of the two important events, so everything ought to be prepared perfectly. The foods were visibly abundant, so Grandma invited some of our neighbors that it made the celebration semi-formal. Later then, our family compound was filled with new faces tonight, with the exception of Eve's classmates whom I've been friends with forever. Anyway, my relatives and long-lost cousins (like Carl and Aries) were there. Wish granted, the party ended up at eleven, so no more karaoke singing and clinging glasses tonight. And now I go to sleep. Goodnight!

Yehey for being desperate!
Closer supervision
Things turned out to be opposite than what I had thought yesterday: it was not something to be afraid about. In fact, when I went to school at eleven, I felt nothing. The only thing that frustrated me was that "closer supervision" thing: I think it's a stepping stone for disciplinary probation - and I don't want to be one of those peers who are in that thing. After all, I think I somehow deserve it. Somehow.

Bloody . . .
My school adviser just sent me a text message in my phone and told me what it's about: bad news.
I can't believe this is happening. Kill me now.
I hope there's nothing wrong
Just this time I heard from Klaire that my school adviser wants to talk to me, along with some peers which I don't to mention their name as it would sound bad luck. I think there's something wrong, and maybe that's because of . . .

Deja vu
I think the more I hope for better mood, the more it it becomes worse. It was proved tonight: I've been deprived of happiness once again, and it's not new to me at all. Such sadness cannot be avoided, especially when "friends" just left you sad like fuck. Basically, they only come when they need you, don't they? And this apparent sign will never alter the fact. In conclusion, friends just come and go, and they wouldn't mind sympathizing you.
I am not sorry for the harsh language; rather, I'm sorry for people who may be offended of my point. I'm not going to remove this post from its factual glory, unless I get a complaint addressed to me directly, in which case I wouldn't mind editing some part of it.

Yehey for the good foods!
Yesterday, I was supposed to spend the day at Karrah's house. But it seemed that I got a lazy, so I ended up lying underneath the bedsheets and going out of the bedroom late at night. Honestly, the night didn't turn out boring as the other nights were: Kim, Lennart, Vhern, and I was enjoying chatting in Yahoo!, and doing some sound-tripping was more enjoyable. Unsurprisingly, I slept at quarter before three in the evening and woke up at ten o'clock today.
To talk about good news, one of Dad's military collectibles has been finally bought by a fifteen year old teenager for an adequate amount. But do take note that he's been selling his stuffs this year, on the contrary that I naturally don't like disappearing stuffs in the household. Inevitably, Mum cooked good foods on dinner, so I will consider that as one of the advantages of selling stuffs, despite my natural dislike of it.
In conclusion, my mood has improved today. And I wish it would improve more in the upcoming days.

My love for her is Lazarus
Finally! I knew everything. From top to bottom; from left to right.
To be clear on what I'm talking about, click here.
Black Saturday, gloomy weather
Black Saturday has come, but I'm not definitely sure whether the word "Black" has got something to do with the gloomy atmosphere here in the house or not — let alone the weather here in my place.
The only good thing that happened today was I knew what was the reason, and like what I had thought, Option 2 really is the reason. And there is no doubt for that. I've accepted it, anyway. And yes, you heard that right - it's "the only good thing that happened today". . .

About to give up
Things never get better. Take last night, for instance. I was in Facebook for the whole evening last night, and I couldn't believe it why I got deleted off from Her list. Why? I don't know, until now. Honestly, I can't even remember if I have done annoying or irritating things. In fact, I could see it coming, anyway; I could feel it since then. It's like, She hated me for something. But the unfair part is I don't even bloody know why. So, patiently, I added her up again. But the mere realisation that She longer doesn't want me to be her friend - personally and online - suddenly popped into my brain guts. Admittedly, I'm about to give this up; things didn't improve these past few days.
Honestly I have my guesses about why and how it happened:
- Rosche could have tweaked something in her bloody account that got me deleted from Her list. That's quite possible. I even saw him using Johanna's account (with her permission, of course). He's got a charming attitude after all; he could have used it for personal purposes;*
- She hates me. Like what I said before, she's avoiding me, and I knew it from the start;
- or maybe I got deleted off accidentally. So there's really no one to blame to. But, how possible that it could happen accidentally?
Option number 2 is the best hypothesis.
Yehey for being paranoid!
*It's just a theory. No harm intended.

The world has finally turned upside down
I don't know where to start.
First of all, I've been on-and-off in my bed for days. I couldn't get a proper sleeping time; leave alone when I wake up early in the morning to get water - but stay awake till noon. In fact, I heard sleeping a lot could burn your carbs; I've been pushing myself into a diet for years already, but there is no to avail. In addition to all these depressing things, I get tired a lot: I'd lay on things and yawn, and I could say this is a very bad omen. But, to be on the pessimistic side, this could help to get a big rest this summer break.
(PS: The bloody picture has nothing to do with my abnormal sleeping habit.)
Second, the intense effect of Holy Week has come in my place. We - speaking of the family - have been trying to lift up the custom traditions and beliefs in this Week; unsurprisingly, my grandmother seems not serious about it. Despite all these things, especially that I'm not a Catholic, I have my own five customs, and they are the following:
- Less Facebooking and chatting (this will serve as sacrifice);
- I try to avoid swearing, and using vulgar words;
- I help on household chores (people find it very surprising);
- my epiphany on realising the Passion of Christ;
- more prayers and prayers.
Lastly, speaking of prayers, I spoke with Sarah, and asked her how is she and her health. It has been a long time since I last talked to her: it was on March 14. Admittedly, as one of her long-distance friends, it made me feel bad; I wish there is something more I could do to help her with her fibromyalgia. She stated that she's been "switching a lot of meds lately" because her "doctor has to find the right combo". The worst of all, she also said that her disease has affected her work, and she "got food poisoning on Mariah's birthday" after eating a Mexican food with lettuce in it. Overall, her health somehow has an improvement: she stopped throwing up after she had her colonoscopy last 2007. I'll just keep on praying about her health, and hopefully it would be cured. That's all.
About the picture
. . . Seriously. I'm not really jealous after all. Besides, it's just Joachim and Her, so what's in it to be insecure? But indeed, they really make a good pair; I'm sure of that.
Geez, this attitude of mine hasn't gotten off since then; it's inevitable. And it's normal, is it? That's how all the other guys feel when they see . . . nevermind. I'm better off not telling you.
Overall, it's okay, I'm fine, I'm good. Just keep the positivity moving.
An SOTM for the beginning of the month
I'm somehow giving my life a moment of positivity and keeping it moving.
