Moving on
Last night, I slept early because I thought there was nothing else to do but to lay on bed and listen to my favorite radio station. On my second thought, I was planning about reading the Twilight book Alex gave me as a random present; I just can't read it through the whole novel because of Bella's attitude. Besides, my only goal was to "learn more English" from it. And I guess I've had enough.
So far my mood has been okay, after all the tantrums I have gone through last Monday. Dad hasn't been Hitler-like these days. The only problem is he contradicts a lot, and I find it very irritating as his voice becomes so loud I could no longer bear it. Basically, I would go to my bedroom — rather than my "parent's bedroom" — and listen to my walk-man to avoid hearing unnecessary noise specifically when Mum calls my name; I have to admit that.
Then this afternoon we went swimming at the beach. I tried not to swim too much because I'm afraid I'd be darker again. Luckily for me, we arrived there at 4:00 PM so there wasn't too much heat after all; there would be no possibility that I'll get sunburns few days from now. Besides, I hadn't enjoyed the sea for almost a year, but I somehow felt bad believing I broke my vow to myself. Ha-ha.
I somehow find myself excited about the new books that will be added in the school library this June. Admittedly, I remember how I sneaked into the librarian office to see the new books, and surprisingly there were plenty! The first book I saw was Marley and Me — which was made into a movie last 2008, and it was a pure tearjerker — but unfortunately there were no new Nicholas Sparks books.
